Frankfurt is a popular city in the state of Hesse in Germany. It is regarded as an alpha world city and is popular for its cultural venues, museums, theatres, performing arts, skyscrapers, and botanical gardens. My trip with buddy Phil who owns https://www.flnation.com/ to Frankfurt was quite interesting and by far the best part of my German holiday. It is an ideal place to spend a weeklong family holiday. There are many resorts, parks, shopping streets, and nightclubs that can keep you entertained 24×7.
- Stadel Museum
A visit to the Stadel Museum in Frankfurt was one of the most exciting events of my trip to Germany. The popular art museum was established in the year 1817. The museum has a vast collection of over 2700 paintings. However, not all of them are on permanent display. The museum also houses a collection of over 600 sculptures. There is a library inside the museum that preserves around 100,000 antique books.
The Palmengarten botanical garden is one of the most visited natural scenic attractions in Frankfurt. The garden spans an area of 54 acres and houses a vast collection of orchids, flowering shrubs, ferns, subtropical plants, and large tropical trees. The historic garden was opened in the year 1871 and is located next to the famous Frankfurt Botanical Garden. The place has many greenhouses that classify the plants based on their origins and species.
Museumsufer is a locality in Frankfurt that houses some of the best museums in the City. The place is located on the banks of the Main River. There is a beautiful pathway adjacent to the river that attracts many tourists to this area. To the other side, you can find several museums like the German Film Museum, Stadel Art Museum, Icon Museum, Museum of World Cultures, German Architecture Museum, and the Museum of Applied Arts. These are some of the best museums to visit in this area.
